| • Michael, Lizzy • Born March 23 • English • Half blood • Hufflepuff • Aries Aries, the Sign of the Ram, is the first in the Western Zodiac cycle, running from March 21 to April 19. It is the cardinal Fire Sign, making those born under its influence especially energetic. Typical aspects of the Aries person include an eagerness to forge ahead and take risks, perseverance in the face of adversity, the belief that others are innocent until proven guilty, and an overall quality of leadership. These are counterbalanced by a tendency towards intolerance, jealousy, selfishness and stubbornness as well. The Aries individual can also be an extremely poor judge of character, concerned as they are with the surface appearance of things and people. Winning for an Aries isn't everything -- it's the only thing. Hufflepuff Ariens have an extreme abundance of energy; however, the usual Hufflepuff tendency to work hard out of duty is modified by the Aries tendency to value play over work. Therefore, expect long periods of playfulness and seeming indolence punctuated by brief, manic bursts of industry. These Hufflepuffs may also be more ambitious and socially aggressive than average, making them clear leaders in their House. Their emotional warmth, open hearts, madcap sense of humour, and quirky independence will endear them to many people, but their naivete makes for easy exploitation by more ruthless sorts of people. |

| Anyone entering the Bennett house should do so at their own risk. It's in a constant state of chaos, and has been since Michael can remember. Then again, with two mildly irresponsible parents, three daughters and a son, you really shouldn't expect much else. It's not that Charles and Jane are bad parents, they just had a very different approach to disciplining their kids. Which, really, was no discipline unless they did something absolutely horrid. The both of them were very sheltered as children and don't want their own kids to have their lives planned out for them. So they, more or less, let them do as they please. Luckily for them, none of them turned out too horrible. Michael's older sister Catie is a highly intelligent former Gryffindor, within her first year of being a cursebreaker. She'd be the perfect child, really, were it not for her god awful temper. A trait that is, on occasion, turned on her siblings. The third in line, Mary, was the child that you could not keep out of things. She always wanted to explore anything and everything, and this general curiosity got her sorted into Ravenclaw. Unfortunately, in Michael's perspective at least, Mary also became a shameless flirt. The youngest Bennett, Lydia, is the only one who, according to Michael, wasn't ruined at all. She's adorably sweet, always giving everyone a chance. Yes, she's incredibly naive, which is why Michael's so glad she was sorted into his house. Now he can protect her all the time. Michael gets along with his family, albeit a little teasing of Mary and a little poking at Catherine's temper. He loves them more than anything in the world and god help the people that mess with them, especially Lydia. (He thinks Mary and Catherine are better at taking care of themselves.) After getting to Hogwarts, at any rate, Michael was sorted into Hufflepuff for his unfailing loyalty to those he loves. He's now in his seventh year and, though he has no idea what he's going to do with his life, he can't wait to get it started. Michael seems to be the epitome of the name "muscle head"; all brawn and no brains. In all honesty, though, he's not stupid at all. There are thoughts in that head, he just has serious issues expressing them. He could be having the most influential thought in the history of the world and it would just come out with a bunch of "DUDE"s. He is also very gullible and will believe almost anything you tell him. This includes, but is not limited to, "Look there's a giant robot behind you", "Santa Claus is real", "Dumbledore is really a woman", etc. He's prone to make really stupid comments that have no bearing to anything. All if this is without drugs. Get him on weed or something similar and be prepared to have your IQ drop several points just by listening to him talk. Michael seems to think he's the hottest guy around and get any girl that he pleases. Unfortunately for him, most girls want a bloke with a brain and not just a good looking one. He cannot, however, stand to see a woman cry, and will do anything, and I mean anything to make her feel better. If he actually got into a serious relationship, he'd be one of those boyfriends that literally dotes on his girlfriend. Minus the ego, Michael's really just a good person; loyal, kind. A little oblivious to the world, but we can forgive him for that. |
